ILLUMINATION OF THE WAY.

By illumination I do not mean the light in the head. That is incidental and phenomenal, and many truly intuitive people are entirely unaware of the light. The light which I refer to is that which irradiates the Way. It is the light of the intellect which really means that which  illumines the mind,
and which can reflect itself in that mental apparatus which is held  steady in the light.
Illumination reveals first the existence of glamour, it provides the distressing contrasts with which
all true seekers wrestle with, and then gradually it fills the life to such an extent that eventually
glamour completely vanishes . We then see things as they really are behind the façade, which  is
the beauty and wonder of radiant life.
The opposites are resolved and consciousness is superseded by a condition of realization of being.
As we advance on the path the higher energies grow even more important to us ,because  only through their actions on us can we find real transformation, and  by becoming an instrument to the
descent of the higher energies into this world, we serve not only our own soul, but also our fellow
travellers through this life.
For me the way of the lighted path can only be found through the practice of meditation, then when this practice  has become a daily thing the darkness within  begins to show signs of a dawn breaking
the way ahead then seems much clearer.
