If we ask ourselves the question, who am I? What is the reply? Who are we really? We are all the
outward expression of an inner invisible reality, the outward expression is what we all see,and this
form and shape is commonly a human being, belonging to something called humanity. We can all
agree that we all belong to this thing called humanity, however if we further question this, and
probe deeper, and ask, well what exactly is humanity then? This is where we enter murky waters.
What then is the true picture of who we really are then, that is a good question, one answer is that
there is someone who does know the answer to this question, and that someone is YOU! YES you
now reading this blog, know who you really are, because that is what you really are YOU! You are
real are you not? Your consciousness has many levels of cognition and depth perception , if you
take up something like yoga or meditation and ask yourself the question, who am I? Persist in this
line of questioning ,whatever answer comes, question this answer, from where has it arisen from?
Keep on questioning yourself, and you will build up a picture and experience an expansion of
your awareness and consciousness, that will begin to inform you of your true nature.
If you practice this method long enough, continually asking the question, who am I? You will
know exactly who you are, and will accept this as the truth, because it has arisen from within
your own SELF!
The self is the first principle, that being spirit, the very essence of life itself, second is the soul
which is the vehicle for the spirit, and third is the physical body, which is the vehicle for the soul
this forms a trinity of expression, we all our three fold beings, here gathering experience and
hopefully learning and understanding what these experiences can teach us.
We are all very similar to an iceberg, which is seven tenths submerged and only three tenths
showing,we fail to see the true size of our whole being, we see just a fragment and think we have
seen the whole!
We are often asked in the course of our lives, just be yourself! Little do we ever realise what that
really means, and the one saying to you, just be yourself, also fails in understanding what this really
means, and not what we think it means. None of us are ever really just being our-self because we do
not know who that self actually IS.
In part two, will try and join this all together, warmest regards Michael.
